Joseph's betraying brothers come back into his life not recognizing him as the Vice-Pharaoh of Egypt. And they come with a big ask! How will Joseph respond to them after all they've done to him? It's SHOWDOWN time! His response is probably not what you'd expect. Join us this Sunday in our 10am service. Please return your unwrapped Angel Tree gift this Sunday.
The best way to kick-off a weekend of gratefulness is to join us for our always meaningful family Thanksgiving Eve service at 6:30pm. The choruses will remind us of the value of slowing down to express our gratefulness to God for our blessings. In addition to Craig sharing some of his blessings, he will read some of the blessings that we submitted on Sunday. We'll express our thanks for the Cross in the observance of communion. And pie will be served after the service. C
"How To Keep Walking In The Dark" will be the topic of Craig's message this Sunday at 10am. At times in life, we'll all find ourselves going thru dark days of loss, disappointment or fear. The story of Joseph offers us some valuable suggestions for navigating in the dark. See you Sunday!
“Where Character is Forged” is the topic of Craig's message this Sunday in our 10am service. From Joseph’s adventures, we’ll be reminded that a strong and resilient character is forged in hard, difficult times. We’ll learn how to respond when life does not turn as we had hoped. On this Veterans’ Day weekend, we will recognize our Gateway veterans. Guys: this will be the last Sunday to sign up for the Saturday, Nov. 17, pizza lunch and trip to the Craftsman Museum in Carlsbad.
Joseph's Amazing, Technicolor, Dreamcoat will be the topic of Craig's message this Sunday at 10am. We'll learn how that particular robe ripped apart Joseph's family. And we'll be reminded of how a robe like that can still divide and devastate families today. I encourage you to read thru Genesis 37 before you come. And don't forget to turn your clocks BACK one hour this Saturday night. See you Sunday!
