Life is filled with disappointments. Disappointments in our marriage, parenting, jobs, relationships, health and finances. But perhaps the most painful ones come from our disappointments with God. In Psalm 77, the Psalmist describes how he worked thru his disappointment with God. His advice offers us some valuable direction to follow. Starting with the belief that it’s okay to be disappointed with God. Plus, the teens will lead us in the worship choruses. See you Sunday!
Any hurts in life are hard but the hurts that sting the most come from other people. Psalm 55 offers some very practical advice on how to deal with those hurts. Psalm 51 records David's confession of sin with Bathsheba. Those words from his journal remind us of the need to come clean with our sin. We pay a high price when we neglect the need for confession.
