Got anything in your life these days that feels hopeless? A family member far from God...a financial straitjacket...health issues...a problematic relationship...needy aging parents...bad habits...buying a house...COVID despair...??? This Sunday in our 10am service, Craig begins a teaching series on one of the Biggies in the Bible whose life can remind us that our God specializes in offering hope to the hopeless. See you Sunday!
Last Sunday Barbara shared about the journey of her year of depression. This Sunday, in our 10am service, she will share some of the lessons she learned from that journey. She saw some of her blind spots and misconceptions about God and grace and she's working to make changes. We all experience a "dark night of the soul" at some time. We wouldn't choose it. But God REDEEMS it (what a beautiful word!). See you Sunday!
This Sunday in our 10am service, Barbara will be giving the message, sharing the story of her year of depression. She had so much to learn - about depression, about herself and about God. He used that dark, lonely time to transform her, to force her to see some blind spots, to take rightful responsibility for herself, to be courageous in making changes that felt terrifying. Now, she has a freedom and a lightness and a much deeper sense of how God loves her. See you Sunday
It's always a smart move to take the time to occasionally pause and look back at how God has provided for you. And that's what we'll be doing this Sunday in our 10am service. Craig will remind us of the many ways in which God provided for our church family in 2021. Even in the middle of a pandemic. You'll have the chance to ratify our proposed 2022 church budget and Board members. See you Sunday!
