 GATEWAY MINISTRIES

Children's Ministry

Our Gateway Community Church Children’s Ministry desires to guide children to the knowledge of God’s love and truth in an environment that is safe and loving and in ways that are fun and memorable.  We are committed to providing Gateway’s children with events, lessons, and experiences that lead them closer to God and Gateway’s families with a supportive, close and active community.

Branch Out-Youth Ministry

Students stand at a crossroad with incredible possibilities and opportunities in front of them.  However, standing at the beginning of a journey how is anyone supposed to know which way to turn?  It makes sense that a great guide has traveled the road before, but the best guide is the one who made the road!  Our hope, and what we strive to accomplish is to help every student be connected closely with Jesus, the God who created life and knows how to lead each of us on our journey.  He didn’t leave us alone, he gave us a community of his followers-some further along the road, some who wrote their wisdom down, others who we are called to lead, and some who are our friends who just travel with us.

Branch Out Youth Group exists to help students in the 6th-12th grades connect with Jesus.  We do that through living in the joy of life God gave us, studying God’s word, worship, games, and building relationships with God’s people.  We’d love for you to join us!

Men's Ministry

Gateway’s Mens Ministry welcomes all men to join us as we walk with God, letting Him lead us to good.  Together we support, gain new friendships, pray, and have fun, building a stronger relationship with each other, and most importantly, God!

‘Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.’ – 1st Thessalonians 5:11

We have a variety of men's social activities planned throughout the year to give us an opportunity to connect with each other. Some of the things we have done this year is a golf tournament in Escondido, CA as well as a Daytrip to the Midway!

Contact Chris Hart Cdhart003@gmail.com for more information on our Men’s Ministry activities or how to get involved!

Helpful Hands Compassion Ministry

Helpful Hands Compassion Ministry strives to find opportunities to show compassion to not only our church family but for individuals in the community as well.

With God's word as our foundation, our goal is to reach out to those who are hurting, broken or in need.

Helpful Hands Ministry wishes to promote wellness through prayer, encouragement, serving others and friendship.

Our program includes:

- Supportive phone calls and meals for those who are ill, housebound, in the hospital or celebrating a new baby.

- Offering compassion to individuals throughout the community who are homeless by serving meals at Interfaith homeless shelter.

- Prayer for friends within our church family by sending out a prayer chain with details as to how we can help lift them in prayer.

Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.

John 15:13

Contact Lynette Moore lynette1@sbcglobal.net if you are in need of service or if we can help you in any way.  We would also be happy to provide more information about our ministry and ways that you can get involved to help serve and offer compassion to others.
